Christian Grossauer and Clemens Holzmann attended the 16th International Conference on Human-Computer Interaction with Mobile Devices and Services (MobileHCI 2014) from September 23-26 in Toronto, Canada. They presented two paper, which have been written in the course of the project AUToMAte.

Christian presented the full paper Mobile Interaction Analysis: Towards a Novel Concept for Interaction Sequence Mining, which describes a novel approach for automatically recognizing user tasks (e.g. writing an email) from logged user interactions (e.g. the order of visited pages and the time spent on each page). A more detailed description of this work can be found in the research section of this website. Clemens presented the industrial case studies paper Logging and Visualization of Touch Interactions on Teach Pendants, which describes a software solution for the acquisition and visualization of user interaction data on teach pendants. The work for this paper has been carried out in cooperation with the electronics company KEBA AG.
