Colleagues from the Research Group Playful Interactive Environments gave an interview to Der Standard, an Austrian national newspaper, in which they give an overview of the R&D project InterPlayces (Intergenerational Co-located Play for Old and Young). The overall goal of this project is to develop and prototypically realize intergenerational game and interaction concepts for the older and younger generation via a co-located playground. In this German-language news article, the concept of an intergenerational game is described, which takes into account that elder people prefer to act strategically, while children frequently behave impulsively within games.
